i just bought an 87v max and a t6-600 a couple weeks ago but theres 2 reasons im returning the t6. 1, the non removable wires means i have to have it in a case when not in use so the wires dont get damaged and the case means its taking up way more room than it has to in my work scooter and the whole reason i bought the t6 was so i could have a smaller multimeter at arms reach at all times. and 2, which is most important, why tf would they not add at least the tenths of a volt for at least DC? i can survive without hundredths or thousandths of a volt but at least tenths is mandatory.. why in the fluck on a device specifically meant for checking voltages would they force you to use whole numbers only? say i measure an 18650 for the liion battery packs i build for the scooters. If the t6 says 4v, cool, great, is that 4.0v? in which case i have to charge it more before sticking it in a pack with the rest of the cells.. or is it 4.9v where i need to discharge it immediately before it bursts into flames and burns down a multi billion dollar machine shop? if it says 2v, great, yay!! is that 2.9v where its perfectly fine or is it 2.0v where the cell is being damaged and degraded permanently? stupid ass fluke as usual makes a product thats almost great but throws in just one reason to hate it.. as much as we pay for these stupid thigs youd think theyd actually work like you wanted. and its not like the screen doesnt have the digits. its a 3 digit display and when you go to the amp setting the screen says "0.0" which means the decimal point is already there.. after 99v, sure, take away the tenth spot. like so many other meters do.. make it say 100v even without a tenth spot.. but under 100v theyre literally just not using the digits that are already there in the display.. all they had to do was not be stupid. it makes no sense and i wish i wouldve known this prior to buying it. i loved my overpriced basic ass 87v. I really like the overpriced 28ii, oops i mean 87v max and the fact its waterproof is gonna be great for working outside. But guess im going to some generic pen multimeter so i can have the basics of a multimeter, like not being stuck with whole digits only. i have a generic $30 multimeter also that has a huge color screen with a backlight and all the same features and accuracies of a fluke.. including the decimal point.. My desk multimeter has a small color screen and it can do down to the ten thousandths of a volt and it was a quarter of the price as the 87v.. these features are not hard to add to a product. fluke really pissed me off with this one.. if you cant tell from my rant nobody asked for. lol
These bug zappers are the reason we have so many mosquitoes as the zappers mostly kill beneficial insects many of which are predators of mosquitoes.
Dude please put the neon light transformer down , this can be very dangerous ! Gona increase my electric bill OMG . I bet with 15500v transformer you could blow the wings off a wasp with about a 3 inch plate spacing , but you might die trying 😢 people that work with that kind of stuff have special equipment and it gets certified cuz it can fail over time
I’m 18 straight out of high school and want to become an electrician. Any tips to start?
Unions are political asf.
I bought an adapter on Ebay and use Milwaukee M18 batteries instead of M28/V28. The machines run slightly slower and will probably last longer. I got 30 "broken" Milwaukee M18/5 Ah batteries for free.....
The best pliers like the cobras are the Irwin. The best Klein tool is the 2005n. Best crimper and my zip tie and random cutter I use every day and a decent stripper that does 10 gauge. I carry the fat knipex strippers but the Klein works fine. For screwdrivers you should try pb Swiss or vessel they are the best screwdrivers. Better than snap on and cheaper if you try those bits you will not use the Klein. Also malco for nut drivers are the ones Klein is copying now. A megapro ratchet screwdriver will eliminate the heavy 711 in 1 screwdriver. I tried all those tools and found better stuff for what I do
Irwin is way better than the channel locks. The 2005 Klein is like carrying those Klein cutters, the best crimper and a really good stripper in one. Definitely try those before buying other stuff. You will not regret it
Dude if u get it to do like old school one u need to let me know how to make one.
I get your frustration the small one should have been a regular green driver. Still love those strike through drivers a lot
Single mom in alaska, 3 dogs and a daughter. Thank you in advance.
My dad was a professional automotive mechanic with his own shop for well over 40 years and he used those craftsman socket rails when the sockets made it to the rail usually they just got dropped in a drawer and you had to go through every socket to find the one you needed. I was pretty much doing exactly the same thing until I got some of those craftsman blow molded tool kits that came with the trays for Christmas one year from my partner. So my old socket just kind of went in a box in the toolbox, and I just started using those. I am kind of in the market for some rails now. But I wouldn’t say the craftsman ones are bad like I said we used them for well over 40 years.
We miss you mike!!
Hook up a arc welder to it and turn up the amps.
I installed an auto drain valve on mine. That way water never accumulates in it, I tied it to the switched side of the 110V on the compressor and it turns on every time the compressor turns on. It opens for 0.5 seconds every 30 seconds while the compressor is filling.
Use a piece of cardboard, fold it into a V, put it under the drain plug and hold the other end to go onto a container for your old oil.
Number 1 is literally why trades and most places never change... your the bitch now but one day youll have your own bitch how about instead you change the cultural...
Thanks so much.
So you just apply to be an electrician without any experience?
That is what most people do or have done. When I first got in the trade not too many people went to school and you learned on the job. Things are a little different now, but most companies will hire someone with out any experience.
30 yr electrician here. Never got any license.. Won’t do it. Licensing is a scam.. I’ve worked in 30 states through my career. And he’s right. Keep your mouth shut as a rookie. It’s just annoying when you don’t listen.. Be safe bros’s.. ⚡️ ⚡️
You completely left out Harbor Freight. I am curious what you think of their socket rails. A lot of my sockets are in metal boxes or open rail boxes. I love being able to grab set I need, however I have gotten to the point I need to do away with the metal boxes to save space.
i don't think those existed when i did this
@@MikesToolShed Hi, the metal box came with the set of sockets. I have SK, KB and others. This would have been in the 80’s and 90’s.
nice First Impression
Man my next door neighbor has the circular saw and sawsall that are brand new. And I noticed on the sawsall how beefy it is. I might just pick them up and get the converter from m28 to m18
Another single mom here with gratitude and thanks to Mike for success for helping me restarting our oil furnace! Best video for this on Facebook 🎉🎉🎉
Wera is pronounced Vera! It’s a German company as you mentioned in your title.
Thank you for this video. Thankfully all I had to do was just loosen the drain a little and it started dripping immediately then pushed the red button and good to go. Flame was instant
thanks mate! i smell like a gas station but we're back online! :D
How long you been an apprentice
you are a lifesaver.. g-d bless
T.y.
Moron should not work with tools.
All you have to do is just lay it down on the side to drain the oil…
When bleeding it mine turns off after hitting the red button in maybe 20 seconds
I'm an electrician and i have been shocked 1,653 times, so far
Isn't the clamp meter the same way except the pickup is on the opening end of the clamp? Anyway price on Amazon dropped so I bought the T6-1000. Might be better idonno. I'm definitely not buying the $700+ clamp meter just to get accurate DC reading.
Unreal what you fit in there
You gone get burned using that thing. Handy but better to be on the metal when testing voltage. Problem is if it shows no voltage, must be no voltage right? Wrong! There's no way to tell if the tool isn't working or if you truly have no voltage. That clamp meter with FC is way better and more sensitive. It's a full blown meter.
Just looking for socket rail pros and cons but found your channel by accident. Awesome channel!!! Great content! SUBBED and hit the naughty bell lol. 😆 see u on the next vid bro! ARCO MN OUTLAW CUSTOMS ( outlaw edge RUclips channel )
Thanks bud. The damn auto delivery on my heating oil never got delivered because of some stupid reason of their systems crashed and don't know who gets auto delivery and who doesn't now. But anyway. Jumped in the shower to cold ass water. Said WHAT THE HELL went downstairs and the tank fuel gauge said ( Hey you dumb muddah fkkah you I am empty ) so I am going to get some 10 gallons off road desiel because they can't deliver until 2 more day's. So I need to bleed my system after I put the off road desiel in until they can fill it. Thanks alot
I know this vid is old but this guy sounds like a professional for watching the oil mechanic one time. 🤣🤣🤣 Everyone thinks there pros now when they watch RUclips or mechanics one time anymore. It's a joke🤣🤣🤣🤣 it takes years to become an experience mechanic that really knows what your doing, but you won't win arguing with these one time go RUclips watch experience people. But hey, if it works then so be it
It was a pretty easy process that i learned from watching someone do it one time, i never claimed to be any expert. This isn't a tutorial on how to replace a whole HVAC system, just how to get it restarted when it runs out. Infact, several oil companies have reached out to ask my permission to use this video on their website.
Thank you so much. Another single mom here that appreciates you for uploading this video!!!
I know how to do this, but the oil ran out when I wasn't home, but the ex was... had to pay to have it done 😅😅
First, make sure they are long as you want, next, they should be soft and pliable, like silicone, thirdly they should cost about 25% the cost of Fluke leads with multiple attachments.
Thanks for the video! The oil truck just left my house. Ive done this before, but i cant remember if i have to turn the thermostat to OFF before i do this? It should be set to off right?
Who makes S-0 pry bars?
Ty so much for this video, we have been out of heat for a week got fuel yesterday and I could not get furnace to run, I watched so many videos of the professional trying to figure out how to get it running, nothing worked we slept in the freezing cold last night again and your video was first one I found today, I diddnt think about the fact the professionals wouldn't tell me how so they can make $ thanks
Has anyone tried adding one of those polyester tips to the steel tape to see if it works better?
Thank you for the video this was a huge help
So that's how you look like? I thought you were just the hand.
I like tip 5 the best.
What if your line isn't draining at all? We have been doing this with no luck. 🥺
i think the only things that could cause that would be no fuel, a totally clogged filter or the pump could be bad
